On the morning of september 19 2013 there was 9-1-1 call to the yonkers police department, the call was a distraught man who attempted to kill himself by shooting himself and trapped himself in his home.
This multimedia article uses video and print which allows us to get a full grip on the story. the video shows us the setting of the scene and peoples emotions. The video also gives a insight on the yonkers police departments leads and what exactly is going on. Another reason this article was good was because it was able to be spread around easier. News 12 since they have facebook and twitter they give you the courtesy to get the news first and spread it easily.
However the depth of the article is very narrow and not very informational. What really got my attention is the eyewitness accounts posted and the comments, because many people give there insight. In fact the first time i checked out this article i saw my aunt which proves how many people actually give there point of view.
Also on televison news 12 the reporters were constantly telling us all the information. however because this was on live televison i was not able to put the live broadcast on this blog. It was covered alot and enjoy television more then print and radio for my news. this is why i enjoyed and liked the way it was broadcasted.
