The first cold weather, open air stadium Super Bowl will be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey this February. This has been dubbed the first mass transit Super Bowl, with many fans traveling from New York City to the stadium via the NJ Transit. In response to this, PepsiCo has spent 1.1 million dollars to advertise in New Jersey stations, with the contract expiring February 3rd, 2014, the day after the Super Bowl.
